Oosterheide is Oosterhout's reconstruction-era district on the sandy soil, six neighbourhoods from the Schrijversbuurt to the De Warande estate woods. The numbers vary widely per neighbourhood — from 2.7 to 6.2 — averaging out at 4.2. The woods and pool at the edge are the constant.
